S2000 2003/2004 Debate...
I have driven both and I like the 2004's torque. But it really is not a huge deal to me. What I have read though is that the 03's handle better and have sharper steering than the 04 and later models.
Any comments on those who have owned both? I plan a supercharger and I know the 04's make more power and torque with the kit than the 03's.
Opinions appreciated, Thanks!!

one more thing....I did not get a chance to hurl the 04 around corners like the 01-02 I drove so I can't say too much about the handling, The steering did seem less direct though.

acceleration-wise, they are the same.
the 04 does have some advantages putting more power down coming out of turns due to the torque, though.
I like the 04+ styling better, too.

If you have driven the 03 hard enough then u'll notice that the rear end will come around without much warning.
Mr. Spoon said this is due to spring rates and the anti-squat geometry in the rear suspension. Honda supposedly fixed this problem in MY2004. Honda also lowered the spring rate in the back to increase grip and increased the front spring rate for less grip.
Stock vs stock on a circuit, the 04+ will be faster just because of the suspension upgrades.
for everyday driving, the increase in torque certainly helps...but I do miss the 9000rpm redline and the noise at 9000 =)
