Missing the monthly sweet sound of vtec reving up to 9,000 RPM with top down with each upshifts. Why do I keep searching for them, purchasing them, bringing their maintenance up to spec, driving them less than 5k miles in 5 years or less and then selling them at a loss, then wanting to buy another one ever since 1999?

This time I broke my own record. Only after less than 4 months, I am looking for another unmoded AP1 to become the next garage queen. LOL

Definitely. I don't see that many white AP1s nowadays.

 

I don't see ANY S2000's in my area. I only know of 3 (including mine) in a town of 80k. I am sure there are some out there but I haven't seen any but the ones I know of for ten years.

 

For whatever reason GPW demands a premium now.

There's at least 2 here in Des Moines. My buddy owns a white AP2 as well.

 

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm in Cedar Falls/Waterloo. There are two silverstones and one black that I know of. The black one (2000 model year) has 11k miles on it but has not been treated well at all and looks like 111k.

 

Finally after 8 months without one, I found the Suzuka Blue that I had been looking for. One owner, no mods, OEM windshield and top, always serviced at Honda. Only 60k miles with Potenza S-02 and up to date service. Picked it up in Ashville near entrance to Blue Ridge PKWY where S2KA club began in it's early days. Took BR PKWY towards the Dragon. Balsam Gap, Sylva, Franklin, Wayah Rd, Nantahala Lake, Aquone, Kyle, Nantahala, Topton, US129 Robbinsville, Tapoco, Dragon, Tallassee. Stayed on 2 lanes the rest of the way towards Nashville. Fun 360+miles on a Saturday afternoon to properly reintroduce myself to 9,000 RPM in1st through 3rd over and over again. Sweet sound of vtec! But you all already know the sound.
