New s2k owner asking for modding advice

The rear axle nut correction is simple. All you need to do is tighten the nut one flat (60°) tighter than it is now. Requires removing, cleaning, greasing, reassembly, and staking the nut but that's all in the notes in the library. I had to stand on the 18" breaker bar to get the full flat.

Anyone in Richmond reading along? I have the socket and breaker bar and you're welcome to borrow it.

Billman warned us of this issue. Not saying the OP should panic, but should be aware, double check and then monitor every once in a while.

Well what do you know. I was completely unaware of this thread and the possibility of incorrectly installed thrust washers from the factory. I just may have to check this out. I hope Honda solved the problem on their own as my 2009 was one of the last S2000s made.
