New S Owner! Sound System
Hey I just got my ap2 not too long ago, although im not digging the factory sound system. I also own a 2013 Si and I love how the sound and bass plays on that. I was wondering if you guys can key me in any good sound system set ups for the ap2. I want it sound exactly, if not exact, but similar to my Si's sound system.
and also a setup where it doesnt make the car vibrate like crazy from the outside, or even hear the panels from the inside vibrate. haha, just a decent sound of the bass. thanks guys.

There has to be a 1,000 treads on the subject. Look under s2000 electronics
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/forum/26-s2000-electronics/
or use Google and search with s2ki in the thread like
s2ki head unit
s2ki speaker replacement
s2ki sub woofer
you get the idea
Good luck in your research and welcome

- Replaced the Alpine with a Kenwood KDC-X599. This made more of a difference than I would have thought.
- Replaced the Boston Acoustic door speakers with Polk Audio db6501s. Minor improvement over the Boston Acoustics, noticable but not OMG.
- Played with all the settings on the amp - eliminated both the LPF and HPF, turned the gain on the sub way down from where it had been, tried different settings for the crossovers. Playing with the amp settings probably made more difference than anything else I did. If I was smarter, I would have done that first before replacing the head unit and door speakers. But, sadly, I'm kind of an idiot.

What I would do as far as your sound system which would not be cheap but should sound amazing ( I have this current setup ready to be installed in my s2k once it's on the road) get a high end component speakers ( I have audison voce) a 8" or 10" sub like a w7 or also voces, jl audio xd700.5 amp or something similar in size and a audison bit 10 processor with any type of aftermarket head unit. This will give you some amazing sound which I had in my Evo. Good luck!!
