New Owner, have a couple questions....
Hi guys, I guess this is my introduction thread as well.
I just picked up my first S2000 last week: 2002 Sebring Silver with only 15,900 miles! It's immaculate and I couldn't pass up the deal. I've owned Hondas since I got my drivers license 10 years ago, all have been Honda Preludes and Accords.
I had an MR2 turbo for 2 years and that car got me hooked on RWD...the S2000 allows both my love for Hondas and RWD to come to life! Plus soft tops are fun!
I've been on boards like this for the past 4 years. I've been a member of S2Ki since 2004 as well, when I first decided I wanted to get an S2000 as my next car!
Here's a couple pics of the new S:
and a few of my Prelude on the Tail of the Dragon (which may end up becoming my daily driver if I can't sell it for what I'm asking)...
Questions on the S:
Is that wing on my car the Honda OEM wing?
Is the hood the only aluminum body part?
Are Bridgetone Potenza S02's the original tires? 205/55/16 front, 225/50/16 rear?
Thanks guys. I love this car already!

Congrats on your new car!!
To answer some of your questions -
The rear spoiler on your car is an OEM option.
Not sure about the hood??
The Bridgetone Potenza S02's are the original tires on the car. But if you use any other tire on the rear than the S02's you should be using 245/45's.
Enjoy your new car!!

Nice car!
You've also got cleared side markers, which is extremely nice on the Sebring (IMO).
Yes, only the hood is Al. The rest of the body (including trunk lid) is steel. A little trick is to take a magnet and (gently) see where it sticks on the car.

First mods:
1. Get the JDM flutted clear corners
2. Loose the front license plate (even though it's an $80 ticket with court fees...it looks terrible and I've run the Prelude without front plate for 2 years without issue with the local PD. *knockonwood*)

You have to be very careful to match the tire sizes.
The point is that the stock Bridgestone S-02 tires, which are 16" 225s in the rear actually have a wider/bigger contact patch than most other 225s. That's the reason for the recommendaation. And, no, you wouldn't have to upsize the 205 fronts to anything other than 205s.
Please read around the wheel and tire forum here for more information (look at the FAQ threads). That's your best resource.
