Question New Member

Hi to everyone on the s2ki board.

My name is Jacob Kubique
And I am proud to say I am a new owner of a Honda s2000 99'. Berlina Black with the Red Leather interior. Some say its a hot combination. I must agree with them. Hence the Purchase. Any car in Black looks great. And the Red interior just compliments its style.
I am a huge fan of NA tuned cars, just something about the passion about how it is engineered I simply admire. the s2000 is no exception. again the reason for the purchase. When it came to purchasing such a car, there was a define line between me getting the s2000 and (As you may have heard more then a 1000 times) Mazda RX8, and that was running costs and reliability. Don't get me wrong the RX8 is a good car... but the engine is too temperamental for my liking and the decpreciation is quite high, Almost like an Alfa Romeo.
Nonetheless.... I bet you guys and girls are dying to see what I am talking about, and you are probably bored reading this text (and probably jumped to the photos already). So here she is:

I hope you think she is a beaut. Because I do and I love her.
If you want to find out a bit more information about me check this page out:

I am hoping to meet a lot of members here and discuss, more about the s2000 and even go on cruises whenever applicable.

Thankyou for your time

Kind regards Jacob K

Wow I really do like the red interior with black! Good choice. And the high contrast makes the car look so sexy. I'm also a fan of good NA cars and I was also considering the RX-8 before I bought my S2000.

Well hope you start loving your car more and more every day! Make sure to check the oil like every week! I do ever since the period when my car suddenly ate oil like crazy and the oil pressure light came on while I was drifting. I could've blown the engine! And I think the manual tells you to check it every time you fill her up.

Have fun and be careful with her!

Thanks guys for the warm Welcome.

Eventually I would like to get a hardtop for her, and some mild performance parts.

I will take care of her.

Kind regards Jacob K

Hey!
I love the red interior. It goes really well with the black exterior. The car looks great!

That engine bay is super clean for the odometer reading (I realize it's Km). Still, car is in great shape. Enjoy!

And welcome.
