i been looking around for one, and figured i would sign up and ask acouple questions... what year if any is the best year so far. i found a 02 with very low miles (23k) with all red interior. just wanted to see if the ecus or anything big changed in modding them and what i should look for when i purchase one.

MY00-01 are the early AP1 model. Honda made minor changes for MY02-03; improved fuel maps, glass rear window, door tweeter, etc. Larger changes came for MY04-05; more displacement (about 10whp and 10ft-lb more but redline lowered to 8k from 9k), changes to the bumpers, changes to the interior, changes to the suspension, etc. MY06+ saw addition of drive by wire; ecu change, minor suspension changes (actually there have been tweaks in spring rates for the last couple yrs).
