Hello all at S2ki. I thought I would offer my introduction.

S2k owner since 2012. First post here.
05 SSM/Blk. 23k mi. All stock. Color matching OEM hardtop.
It is nice to see there is still so much interest in the S2000 and this forum.
Not too many know what an S2k is in Southeast Iowa. Only two others in the area that I know of. Have read the forum occasionally for several years and got a lot of good info from here back when I purchased and installed my hardtop and again when I installed a Bluetooth transmitter.
I started browsing this forum on a more regular basis this winter and am anxious to get the car out this spring.

 

Welcome. I am in northeast Iowa and there are even fewer around here, which is great. I did some top down driving yesterday since it was 70 and it was quite a rush after a long winter. I had it uncovered from winter sleep and road-ready in under an hour.

Welcome, I am from central Iowa in Des moines.

I have an 07 NFR and my brother just brought back a clean 06 LBP with 35k miles!

There have been several popping up in Des moines at least 7 of them here.

 

I just purchased a 2003 AP1 I belive.

See I'm an expert already! I bought my car in Florida wile I was there for the Daytona Supercross. I'm retired and drive a rig for one of the riders. Fun time I get to go to all the races they buy the gas. I will fly to Florida to pick up my car when the season ends. Postponed at this point so I am at home in Colorado. I was a Factory trained Honda tech 40 years ago. Opened a Honda specialty shop and ran that for 20 years before becoming a ski bum. Love Honda's raced a lot of motorcycles. The S2000 was not manufactured when I worked on Honda's. I saw one in 2011 at at Ford dealer and kick my self for not buying it. So on the bucket list it went. I never drove one till I purchased mine. The girl friend loves it! We got to drive it around Clearwater and Daytona for a few days. Can't wait to get it home. It will be a road trip to Colorado via Houston. I know this site will be a wealth of information. Thank you to all who put in the time to help.

How to contact Billman is probably the second most common topic here. Just find one of the hundreds of messages on the topic. I'll save you the 2 minute search: PM is the only way and only Members (vs registered users) can do that right away. Support the forum with a membership or wait out the 2 or 3 week probationary period to access PMs.
