Default New Guy STi to S2000 (PICS)

Hello everyone! My name is steve, and i just bought a used 2005 siverstone s2000 with 57k miles. Let me just start off by saying WOW! I love this car. I used to live in california, and i had an s13 coupe w/ an sr20, then i sold the s13 and bought an S14 kouki. About 2 years ago i moved to colorado. I sold my s14 and bought a 2005 STi. The sti was a great car and i loved it, but for some reason it didnt satisfy me. So i wanted to get back into a rear wheel drive and im VERY happy that i choose an s2000. I need to buy a beater for winters up here in colorado, but im ganna start off by changing the tranny/diff/oil fluids. Anything i should worry about with having an MY05 with 57k miles on it? I got the car for 19,500, but its in excellent shape! The beautiful headlights do have a foggy look to them, i buffed it with plastic polish and it got a little better.I hvae a 4 year warrenty with it, do you think honda will replace them? I look forward to meeting you guys and learning more about this car. Thankz

quick pic of my 05 sti

Nice. Former 04 Silver STI owner to a Mazdaspeed 6, but I did own both cars at same for a while. Very different vehicles of course, but I can understand the switch. the STI never could cut it for me as a pure fun car with it's toyish looks, and negative attention. It did make for one hell of a thrilling daily commute and winter car though. You got yourself a pure sports car now with much better looks, and although the STI is a boatload of fun in itself, there's just something special about this pure single trim sports car roadster.

It always bothered me when I used to see an old woman driving a silver RS that looked like my STI. Enjoy!!!

Another former Sti owner here - well i'm in the process of getting rid of my 05 - I miss the power sometimes but the car handles great. I love the s2000.
