I got mine in Costa Mesa, CA. Pretty far from Mo! All I can say is be patient in finding you S2k. Once you do get it for the price you are willing to dish out, it will be well worth it!!!
If it's any consideration, paying $34k for the car is not too bad. The S really really holds it's value, whereas something like an Infinitie G35 coupe depreciates tremendously!!!
That was one of the deciding factors for me between the 2 cars. Just an FYI.

I know they hold their value, I used to have an 01 S and I traded it for my bmw like an idiot and learned the hard way! It's hard for me to be patient though, I want one SO BAD!!!

2001S2000, I just bought a 2006 in Silverstone in St. Louis. Paid $31,352. The dealer said they might have another one arriving in that color but that was about 30 days ago. Let me know if you want the name of my salesman.

L.A. S2K owner here - I picked mine up for around $28,700 (had 19 miles) but when it was all said and done, (TLR, extended warranty and trunk spoiler) I was up around 31K and change. Now if I could just figure out how to post images...

I feel very fortunate to have gotten such a good deal but the price came through a friend who has a very close relationship with the GM of this particular dealership. I don't believe they would offer that $ again or at least not on a standard sale. However, Thousand Oaks Honda was my backup plan if my friend couldn't come through - after a bit of negotiating, I was looking at around the high $29k range - not a bad deal IMO.
Btw, anyone know how to post images on this site?
