I would just like to say that I really admire the fact that you have such respect for Hondas and Japanese cars in general while driving a WS6. My best friend has a 2006 GTO and he's one of the few guys I know that can relate to all sorts of cars. I find so many guys that own American cars and bash Japanese and German cars...which can really get to me after a while.

Anyway, your car is beautiful, and I'm sure you know how fast it is . I was looking at a 2001 Camaro SS before I decided to buy an S2000...and I love the Trans Am/Camaro. Good luck, and I look forward to chatting with you on the forums.

Thanks, I respect those who respect me. As far as japanese/german cars, like I said, I like anything that is nicely executed and have always liked the look of the S2K. I really hope when they redesign it they consider something akin to the old NSX motor, that would make the S2K a world-class car, I think its lack of tq is the only complaint I have seen other than "its too small" (made mostly by people who never sat in one.) I for one am 5'11 and fit well, having ridden in one, I will say its the best roadster out there, sure the Mr2 is lighter...and slower, the Solstice shows promise, but looks like a mini-C6. I just like the S2k because it looks 100% original and is fast as heck for an NA 4-cyl. Anywho, thanks for the warm welcome!

PS. I still find it amusing that the S2K can/does pull 99-04 GT's from a roll and the track numbers are = with good drivers. It always cracks me up, the GT owners are so anal about that. They deny deny deny, I am sure you all have some stories about that one.

Hello and welcome. I was looking at an '02 SS myself, before settling on the S2000. My Father drives a '99 LS1 Z-28, and after driving that for so long, I decided to get something a little different. But your WS6 is very nice, anything done to it? Nothing beat's the sound of a heads/cam LSX car. Haha.

I just drove my friend's GTO for an hour tonight and I would definitely buy a musclecar if I could afford a second automobile

My friend JR went from a civic that ran low 11's@mid 120's to an 06 M6 GTO, he has around 5K miles and already has full exhaust, LT's, and a cam. He layed down 415/389 on the dyno. Other projects of his include a 12 second EVO8 (12.2@112), and an all-motor integra that while never ran at the track, pulled a couple of verified mid/high 13 second cars on the street. I asked him about his decision go go american. He said "I love the tq and never having to play "catch-up" and being able to leave the light HARD and not wait for the boost. I really like the sound of a cammed LSX motor."

I love imports, domestics, pretty much everything, but a lot of import owners get addicted to the tq, while I on the other hand enjoy the mess out of a high-spinning little motor or a BOV operating at well over 20PSI. I guess "the grass is always greener" holds true in the automotive world VERY well.

N/Apower, nice car I'll probably catch grief for admitting it, but my dream car before the S2000 was a WS6 TA

BTW, are you on LS1tech? I thought I've seen your car somewhere

Welcome aboard N/Apower. My friend has owned an '01 Camaro SS, '02 WS6, and an '06 GTO. I have driven all three and loved playing around in those cars. Its good to see another person have respect for all cars, not a specific genre.
