Major Differences between a 00, 01, 02 and 03
I am looking to get a honda s2000.. I had a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon GT however I ended up totalling it a few weeks ago... I was wondering what the major differences were between a 2000 and 2003 s2000 are if any... Basically the price differences between them are only a couple thousand so I was wondering if i should get a 2000 for $18k or spend $23k on a 2003? Any input is appreciated.. Thanks

this is the third person I've come across on the forums this week who is going from a Tiburon to an S2k, including myself . . .
I'd say you can find an 00-01 for less than 18K, depending on how much mileage you're willing to allow on the car. You can get a 03 for less than 23k too . . . just shop around, you can find some good deals in winter.
From what I've read, there are some minor differences, besides the obvious glass window on the 02+ . . . I believe there is a thread dedicated to this somewhere, do a quick search and you'll find it.

Its up to you to pick the better of the two cars. I would go with the one with lower miles, OR the one thats in better shape. If its beat up, chances are it hasn't been maintained.
