Hi everyone. I've been lurking these boards for years, but just now decided to register. I have been considering getting an S2000 more seriously so I thought I'd register and see what kind of information I should know, or maybe look around the cars for sale forums.

I currently have a BRZ. I intended this to be my only car, no beater, just have that as a daily and autox car. That lasted all of 5 months before I got another car as a daily driver, because I didn't want to deal with door dings or people hitting my bumpers when parking etc...

So realizing that whatever sports car I get is going to be a second car, I started wanting a convertible sports car again. I've had 2 Miatae, one stock 96R, and one nearly fully prepped STR 99 Sport. I love the kind of precision that only comes from lightweight rear drive cars (thus the current BRZ ownership), and feel like an S2000 would be another car in that genre that I should own.

(I considered a lotus but I don't fit well, being 6'4")

I've driven a CR on an autocross course, and drove a couple S2Ks on the street. It seems like the kind of car I'd enjoy all summer .
