One other thing, the dealership sold me a third-party warranty for $1,850. 60 months/60,000 miles.
I'm going to cancel it. I can't see how if I'm putting less than 10,000 miles a year on the car, and I follow the maintenance schedule there will be a repair that comes up that costs more than $1,850. I shouldn't have bought it in the first place but it's fully refundable until 60 days; after that it's pro-rated.

So there is some significant exhaust resonance around 2,700-3,000 rpm. I'm thinking loose heat shield maybe? Appointment at the dealership tomorrow for an oil change and to make another small repair.
The exhaust resonance is definitely not normal; right?

i would keep the warranty to be honest!! Its only 1800 dollars... what if your AC goes out that could be 2000 dollars alone, or transmission problems can be astronomical!!! For the small amount you paid i would DEFINITELY keep it!!

Should not be much 3k drone with stock exhaust - or is it aftermarket?
Going to pick her up in a few minutes. Gotta find out which hanger it is (single or double) so I can order the right part and replace it.

my bank gave me a better deal on my warranty. I was more worried about my convert top mechanism going bonkers or something else who knows. the 1.1k i paid was just peace of mind fee I guess. Really sorta what an car alarm is. Glorified peace of mind.
Congrats on the car. I predict...an oem front lip and a spoiler in your future!
