Hey guys, just traded in MY00 silverstone/red for MY06 BB/black. I am really liking the AP2 quite a bit more in terms of how much nicer it is to drive around town and just for a daily driver. I do miss a little of the "wildness" but overall am pretty satisfied I will post pics very soon

Personally I have only been in 1 s2k ever in my life, the AP2 I own. What kind of wildness am I missing from the AP1 that statement got me so curious.

 

I don't think you are missing any of the essence of the car. I just felt the AP1 had more of a crazy feel to it. No traction control had some to do with it, but the 9k redline also made it feel a little wilder. It was just more of a raw car IMO. I think the AP2 is great though and didn't stray away from the original. It is an improved version IMO, although I know some would disagree.

I would guess less mileage.

 

Less mileage was probably one as it was for me. My AP1 wasn't really high miles though. I still dropped 40k miles
