Just bought me a s2000!
Well, i was here couple of days ago comparing what i should get: 350z,s2000,evo, or STI.
But hey i went with a s2000 and i love it! I've never driven anything close to it, handles like a dream.
I've already hit the "search" botton and looked up information on turbo or supercharger.
What i found: SC is for track, Turbo is for street/drag
I would be going for a turbo. http://www.ultimate-racing.com/Products2/S...pgradeKit.shtml
As by reading i found out that 8-10k would cost for a good turbo on s2k. Now i'm most likely not the richest guy here.
I'm 19. Work on pay-check to pay-check.
The kit i choose: Is it any good?

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum. I'm sure you will enjoy your new S as much as everyone here does.
In answer to your turbo question, you will probably have better luck posting it in the Forced Induction forum. That is the playground for all things turbo and supercharged

yea i actually just clicked on there adv on the forums..looks like good stuff. although i am kind of scared. after reading older threats on turbo s2ks. like i said i live on paycheck to paycheck. i just spend 17k on 2000 s2000, and by reading i have to spend a another 10k to turbo it.
i know i should had gotten a sti/evo, but hopefully this will work out fine. its unique and i love it i keep driving to 7-11 just for the hell of it.

i am thinking you should hold off on the mods for a little while as well. If I was living paycheck to paycheck then I might be working on cutting costs first and then worrying about the car second. After cutting some unnecessary costs out of your life you will be able to put a little bit of money to the side to put into a "car fund." Just be careful, if you get yourself a girlfriend and she finds out about the car fund, it seems to disappear and turn into her reason you love your car more than her. Oh and also dont let it turn into a beer fund either, that depletes it real fast. Good luck man and be safe.
