Introduction then got stolen.
I am in Sacramento Area. I owned this S2000 since 2004. I had it from 2004 to 2010. Then due to work I had to move to Detroit, so I transfer my title to my cousin who lives in Dallas. He kept it for me for the past three and half years. I recently moved to Sacramento California and I got my car back and just received my title 5 days ago. Happy to be reunited with my baby.
I live in a quiet area in Sacramento. The zip code is 95831. The community is gated. I parked my car almost in the middle of the "U" shape neighbor community. Unless someone has been into the community, no one should have known the car is parked there from the outside. I only have been driven that car couple of times the past 2 weeks. The car was broken into and the removable hardtop is stolen between 3 am to 6 am of 1/16/2014.
The serial number of the hardtop is 69100S2A901ZZ. It is a black OEM hardtop I had since 2004. If you ever acquiring a hardtop, please check the serial number so to make sure that you are not purchasing a product of criminal conversion.
If anyone in the community have found this hardtop on the internet, please kindly notify me.
Very sincerely appreciated.

Sorry to hear about this. They definitely cased you out, it takes 2 people to pull a hardtop safely, and they need a large vehicle to drive away with it. It's not like a punk in a Honda Civic running around stealing hardtops, whoever it was knew your habits and they planned for the theft in detail. Definitely someone in your community or a visitor of theirs IMO. The S2000 community is relatively small it may turn up in some form, post up in as many areas as you can to have others keep an eye out for it in case it goes up for sale.

Thinking I should make a note of my hardtop s/n. Didn't know they had one. Or, where to find it.

the badge can be removed so tracking one based on that will be difficult. I'm planning on etching my hardtop glass with my cars vin to make it traceable if it is stolen
