Hi, all. Purchased my '04 S2000 with 22K miles in October and already looking forward to the end of Ohio winter -- it's going to be a fair weather driver. Great car so far but haven't been able to enjoy its potential much yet. Looking for track days in the Midwest if anyone knows of any scheduled next year.

Hi all!!! I dont own an S2000 yet, but that will be my next purchase over the next few months. Im currently tying to sell my current daily (04 Mini Cooper S) and have already started looking for an S2000 to call my own. I have come to this forum on the advice of a friend and i am hoping to learn everything i possibly can before so i can make a better purchase and to be able to know as much as i possibly can. Im not new to RWD cars. Ive had several including BMW 328iS, Mazda RX-8, and a mildly prepped CSP class miata that i auto-x. But the S2000 will be a new adventure for me and im looking forward to getting into the thick of it.
Im looking forward to learning and hopefully making some friends along the way. Thanks in advance!!!

Hi I'm Chris and have just joined the Forum
I live in The North-West of England (UK) and currently own a 350Z coupe.
I've had it a few years and am considering an S2K for 2 reasons:
- They are meant to be a bit pointier and lighter than the 350Z. I do quite a few track days and the Z can feel quite heavy. especially when i'm buying performance brake pads every time I do a track day.
- Also i hear that the S2Ks will start doing wheelies before the engine internals give way. I have been thinking of charging the Z for a while but the DE engine in the earlier cars is only good for around 400bhp and the kits and tuning are quite expensive.
Every search i do on google brings me to this forum so I'll be spending a lot of time on here looking into known issues for purchasing / running the car and information on going FI. Hoping to get a test drive booked soon.
Look forward to chatting with some of you, and please, don't slag of my poor Z. it has been a faithful steed for a long while and I just fancy a change.
