Hi, just got myself a UK 2002 AP1 in Silverstone Grey with Hardtop, front lip, side spats and rear boot spoiler, otherwise standard.
Loving it so far and can't wait to learning loads of stuff about the cars and how to maintain, repair and modify them.
Thanks, Dave.

Hello all. My name is Jason and I'm from upstate NY in Rochester. I've been trolling this forum for a while now since I've been considering getting an S2K and have always loved them since they came out. I bought an 87 Nissan Pulsar SE to have some top off fun while learning how to do some of the nitty gritty maintenance like timing belt, water pump, clutch, etc and ended up converting it from a cable transmission to a more durable hydraulic transmission from the 88 in hopes of throwing the CA18DET in there. Well I'm tired of driving and working on a car that's 25 years old, so it's time for an upgrade on the "fun" car (my daily is a Mazdaspeed Protege).
I'm looking at an S2000 this weekend and it has one nick on the CarFax. The dealership explained that it was a small fender bender that was professionally repaired and the fender VIN sticker is still there. Can those be faked at all? I'm going to print out the list of things to look for from the FAQ on this site when I go, but is there anything not covered by the FAQ?

Hi! I am Holly and am new to this forum. But not a new S2000 owner. My S2K is a 2004 model. Bought it way back then. I have put over 166,000 miles on it. I drive it over 100 miles everyday to and from work from Mt. Airy, MD to Dulles, VA.
Had to change out my clutch for the first time last week. Cruise control isn't working after the replacement. Going back to my mechanic to sort out the problem. Doesn't seem to be a swith problem. Probably some wiring connection to the cruise system.
I see there is a Mid-Winter Gathering in Gettysburg in January. Where do we find info on that on this forum? Gettysburg is only 45 minutes from me. I'd love to go and meet some other owners!

Hi
Very nice forum, lots of good information. Just bought a 2006 with 29k miles, and love it. I can't wait to find some country roads. New to Florida and want to know your opinions on radar detectors.
thanks
Bob
