Can anyone point me in the right direction to find the Tampa bay area social events. I live in Clearwater. Thanks, Greg.

Howdy everyone, I’m Curtis. I just picked up my first S, ‘02 Sebring Silver, 100% stock. I was 16 when the S first came out, and told myself I’d own one some day. With values going up, decided now was a good time to finally make it happen!

It’s quite a contrast to my other hobby car, but they’re each fun in their own way!

LOVE that Beetle. '63 as well - 6v electrical? My parents had a '62 they bought new with a 6v system - their first brand new car purchase in 1962; I think they said it was $1400 new?

They had it until '88, which was a year before I got my license. They didn't want me to have it because there were no seat belts. I wanted that car. But I ended up with an '85 CRX and started my passion with Honda.

Thanks! It’s been converted to 12V, and has a later 1600 engine. I’ve installed dual Weber carbs, stainless exhaust, and converted front brakes to disc, among other things. I even retrofitted 3-point seatbelts!

And now back to your regularly scheduled S2K discussion...

Close.....it's a 72, used as a daily. I'm pretty sure not too many people have this combo.

Hello, relatively new member here. I bought a 2008 S2000 for my 70th birthday last June. Replaced a 2011 Mazda Miata that I had for the previous 4 years. I'm finally getting back to sports cars again before it's too late. During my H.S./college years I bought a sports car every summer, fixed it up then sold it in the fall when I would get a beater for the winter. Some cars included Triumph Spitfire, 3, 4, 4IRS, 6, MGA, XKE, AH Sprite, Mini Cooper S, Volvo P-1800, Saab 96, 99, Porsche 356A and 912 among others. Lots of road rally's and autocrossing during that time. I got distracted and priced out of these cars after real life began. Now that I'm retired, I resorting back to fun stuff. I'm enjoying this forum with so many topics and people. It's helping reduce the isolation during these trying times.
Steve
