Just purchased a Moonrock grey 2009 S2000 with 48k miles on the clock. Mind condition with FSH. Based in the UK.
First mod will be a steering wheel re-trim (I've seen someone on here offers them hence why I've joined!).

Just registered--currently in the search to pick up an AP2 Berlina Black or Laguna Blue S2K; been away from sports cars for awhile. About a decade and a half ago I had a 1995 Supra (yeah really kicking myself I let that one go), sold it back in 2011 after deciding I needed a "grown up" car and got into an IS350. Now my wife drives that and I have a 4Runner which has enough stuff on it I only get 13-15 MPG. Recently decided I wanted another car as a daily driver and figured why not get something dual purpose that can also be a fun weekend car. While I had the Supra one of my best friends had an S2000, so I've spent enough time behind the wheel to decide that was the perfect option and thus here I am on the hunt. Looking forward to the wealth of knowledge on here--unfortunately it's been long enough I've forgotten a lot of the details about the platform.

Welcome aboard. The forum for NTX is not used much and not as active as some others due to social media. If you are one Facebook they do most of their connections there.
There are instructions for joining on the North Texas S2000 Owners Forum. I do not have FB, however please reach out anytime. Best to you!

Hello everyone!
Being new to the S2ki Forum last month, gotta say some awesome cars out there. Got my LBP 10 years ago and each time I get in for a drive, it is just like the first time! What a privilege to be part of this community.
If anyone is interested in some sort of North Texas activity I have posted the following: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/texas-no...ether-1196254/
Thanks for all the great information and support!
Michael

Ready to Rock!
I've owned my 2002 S2K for about 13 years. It is bone stock and I love it that way. However it may be time for a simple upgrade or two. What is the best way to get an additional 20hp and 20ft-lbs of torque?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hello from coastal South Carolina
My name is Mike and I've been a S2000 admirer since I did some welding for a coworker that races his S2000. It's a beautiful car. He added a rollcage, metal hardtop, welded all front suspension brackets to the frame and added a through the trunk wing.
When I wanted to install a six speed in my car, I first thought of the S2000. I purchased a 2006 144,000 mile F22C1 transmission. I have a question about the gear reduction? Can it be removed? Or does the aftermarket sell taller 5th and 6th gears for the F22C1? Also, do 2006 starters have a different bolt pattern than pre-2004 starters. Thanks!!!
