Introduce yourself here! Part II
#1471
Hello all
Just joined today while on a road trip.
Happy new owner of a 2002 s2k that I bought 3rd party from a close friend of my fiance. Was inspired to join by posts from GEARHEAD demonstrating his DIY hood vents. My car needs a little work and I wanted to dabble in painting and have done the research needed for supplies, prep'ing, and painting, but others have advised me against it because they say painting is an art and I will most likely not get a good color match.
Anyway,I like to test the limits of my abilities and learn new things every day. I'm very cautious but open to many ideas.
I hope to learn a lot from this community and if anyone here lives in Lincoln,NE hit me up. I wanna work on my car as much as possible and go to car meets!

Hey guys, I've owned an S2k for just under a year now and been a member here for maybe half that time. I have a ap1 with 127k miles, and she's waiting for a track day or autocross event to just stretch her legs.

Hey guys! I have been on here for a couple months now and haven't yet introduced myself. Just bought my 2004 Silverstone S2000 about four months ago. So far all that's done to her is a PLM header, K&N FIPK intake, Invidia 70mm test pipe and a Invidia Q300 catback. She needs some new wheels and some good tires and I was hoping someone could help me pick out the sizes for the specific rims i'm looking at.

Hey there. I'm a new s2000 owner. Just bought a 2001 ap1 silver with red interior. Looking to start doing some simple mods for the time being. SO far the boards have been a great info resource to me.

Greetings all,
So I've finally decided to join the forum having used it for yonks. I have just purchased my 3rd S2000, after having a painful 4 year hiatus that nearly drove me insane....Clio diesel(I'll say no more).
This is just my first foray to say hi, and if any S2000 owners are in the sunny dales of the south coast of the UK(Southampton specifically) I'd be keen to meet or take on board any tips you have to offer.
My example is a MY2000 AP1 in Silverstone Silver, with black interior. It's an old bird, with a 125k on the clock and a rattling TCT(got the replacement incoming) but otherwise, it's in good nick.
Hopefully the car will be sitting on some new 17's soon, girlfriend and budget depending. Shout out to DeltaLima for supplying the TCT and for getting me to join....saved me 300 quid and a whack across the earhole from the missus.
Happy revving people!

Hi folks,
My name is David Hand, I live in Denton, TX, and I'm a born-again S2000 owner. I used to be fairly active on these forums and the North Texas group back in the olden days in 04-06 when I had a 2000 NFR. I attended the 2004 Fall Colors Tour in AR, 2005 S2Ki World HQ Meet in CA, among other things. Sadly, I sold my S2000 in early '06, but always knew I would have another again some day. It's hard to believe it's been nearly 10 years! Fast forward this past week, when I purchased a 2003 Suzuka Blue S2000 in minty condition with 37,000 miles. It feels good to be back in the saddle again and boy have I missed this thing!
