My name is Zavier, I live in Washington state and recently picked up an Ap1 with a spun rod bearing for pretty cheap.

FAIL 1

And the day she came home

FAIL 2

FAIL 3

Pretty basic for now, AP2 soft top, front end, sitting on D2 coils and a full 3" exhaust. Big things to come though! But in the mean time I figured I'd join and try to soak up as much knowledge as possible.

Hey! After 6 years driving a Miata (and loving it) and struggling through college, I have manned up, did 7 months of. Nonstop research and a search for a decent price, I have finally picked up my '00 Grand Prix white AP1 with red/black interior combo. 61xxx miles. I love it. I'm here trying to absorb knowledge and develop a plan for this cars future.

Yo, what up guys! New owner of a '01 Spa Yellow AP1 in LB, CA. Got it with 90XXX clean miles, stock with K&N CAI in great condition. Used to drive a sweet Racing Red '87 VW Golf GTI 16V, but its in the works for a long-term project car. Insanely addicting drive, and a huge difference from the Golf.

Semi-new S2000 owner. I've been messing with Hondas since I got my first one at age 17 (87 prelude LOL). I've owned a lot of Hondas over the years, and finally bought a S2000 about eight months ago. Couldn't really be happier. So far I've only done basic maintenance stuff, upgraded to a ballad timing chain tensioner, also replaced the soft top the first week I bought it. The forum has been a great help so far as a quick reference when looking for info for my S! Thank you for sharing the knowledge.

Well, not exactly a new member here. Been one about two months and figure its about time to introduce myself even though my car isn't quite the way I'd like it quite yet... Anyway, I high-sided my R6 daily driver and figured I'd go for another kind of vehicle to zip around in till my rotator cuff heals up. Well, found something with a bit of work will become my dirty mistress to compete with the wifey bike.

2001 AP1 Spa Yellow / Black Interior
-Bride seats
-CAI
-Seibon MG Style CF hood
-Test Pipe followed by Dual titanium-tip exhaust (small name, but surprisingly not bad. Actually sounds amazing.)
-Sport lowered springs
-Engine bay and under bracing
-and plenty of problems. Like the damn ricer stickers and fart cannon hanging out of the back when I first bought it.

I'm sure I'll be starting plenty of threads on maintenance stuff considering the clutch has already gone in the first month of having it...

Any one in the Greenville NC area?

Hello everyone! I'm from San Diego living in Louisiana at the moment. I've had my '01 ap1 for about 5 years and I'm finally joining. My s2000 is imola orange and black. Person I bought her from had her super uber ricey. I mean, everyone remember invader body kits? Lol. Well, that kit to this day is still on! Let me explain. After buying my s2000, I had to get sent overseas to Italy (I am in the Air Force). The process of leaving the US was so quick, I had no time to ship my new ride with me. So it sat and waited for me at my parents til I got back. Unfortunate, but now that I'm back in the states, I've been spoiling her. In the signature is the end goal after all installs. Got her new front/rear bumpers, new cf hood, gold bbs lm's, & coilovers. In the process of getting everything in, then I'll be installing it all. Love all the knowledge and experience on here! Thank you all in advance btw! Can't wait to get this transformation started!

Hello everyone,

I'm a new owner of a 2000 S2k with 79,000 miles in the most beautiful color you can put on a car... Berlina Black. I have been looking around at different body kits around the net and have seen some that I like the front part of the kit but not the rear. I have seen one car on You Tube that I like the rear quarter but I think it's a custom body fabrication. I can't wait until all of the snow is gone so that I can take it out and enjoy the drive.

Hello Everyone!

I just met a long term goal and bought myself a beautiful 2001 Spa Yellow S2000! Bone stock, just under 90K miles, great condition though I detailed it and found more rock chips than I thought it had. Currently stationed in Charleston, SC with the Navy but I hail from Oregon and Colorado. Hope to slowly upgrade my car in all the right ways, nothing crazy but certainly worth it, and staying NA!
