Greetings from SoCal,
For about 2 months now I've been the proud owner of a wonderful MY00 Silverstone with about 82k on it. I'm very grateful for the wealth of information this community provides and I'm looking forward to soaking it all up and becoming a contributing member.

Hello,
I have had my 2001 S2000 for about 7 years now. I have kept it almost completely stock and love it that way. I recently just had to swap the motor out in it because my old one overheated and I'm assuming warped the head. I still have the old motor if anyone in the Atlanta area is interested in buying it for a reasonable price. The block and everything other than the head assembly should still be good. Well anyway I'm glad to finally be on board here.

Since you already swapped the motor, have the head inspected at a machine shop to see if anything else is wrong with it. If it's just warped a resurface is like $20. Fix it, put it back together, and sell it whole..

What's up guys picked up my 2002 suzuka s2000 with about 70k a couple weeks ago and I'm loving it, it's my daily driver and I couldn't be happier. At first my budget was kinda low so I was aiming to pick up a prelude but the guy flaked on me and ended up not selling it so i thought about it and my parents and grandma helped me out and I got an s2k. Still can't believe it but I'm in love. Has a few little dings and 2 or 3 small patches in the top but nothing keeping it from looking beautiful. It's completely stock except for the ssr's it came on but I plan on keeping it stock for a little longer and then Savin up for some mods later on. 16 so I'm just now looking for a job but hopefully I get one soon. Just wanted to say what's up thanks for listening

Hi! After owning 3 civic type r's and then making the mistake of buying a mk1 TT( terrible car, ok, nice car but cr#p to drive) I got my 1st S2000. I love it. Like my old Eunos but on steroids. It's a 2000 ap1 with 107k on the clock.

Picked up my 07 silverstone with 30k miles a couple months ago and I absolutely love it. I have always wanted to work on my own car and add some supporting mods. I finally have the time and money and I am super excited for what my s2k can give to me. This is my first post and may be one of my few posts in all based on the amount of info that is already here on s2ki. DIYs are amazing and I have yet to not find the answer I am looking for here on s2ki. I definitely hope to get in on some good group buys as well .
I am from Austin, TX and now I need to go to work with the top down

Hello All,
I bought my S2000 nearly a month ago and temp insured it for a week, really happy with the car, great to drive and looks amazing. I'm just waiting to take my other car off the road and swap the insurance over fully.
I've already taken off the rear bumper and replaced the fog light brackets as they didn't really exist anymore. The number plate surround brackets seem to be following them in their rusty death crumble as well so i will be making some new ones to hold it on. I've gone round and un-seized all the brake caliper sliders and then re-greased them.
Things i have planned;
- Change Diff and Box oil; The Diff seems to have a whine so i'm hoping it just requires an oil change.
- Under seal; after taking the rear bumper off and seeing all the surface rust under there i plan to clean it up and under seal it before it gets to a point where it
require repair.
- Paint; Repair a few bits of paint where it has flaked or has signs of starting to rust
- Headlights; They need a light referb as the lens is slightly faded and yellow. Thinking of fitting some orange lens' as well so if anyone has some they want to get
rid of let me know.
I haven't got any decent pictures of the car yet.
