Why are the prices for used S2k's all over the board? I see 2000 models for sale for $20 and up, and I see 2007's for $10k. For mostly stock cars. It's not always the millage. Do some people just hammer them to death? Emotional owners over-estimating their value? I'm to settle up on a 2004 today after work. Having second thoughts. Not on the car, I love that. The price.

I've previously owned an 02 Si, an 06 RSX-S, and a 98 ITR but I've gotta say, I'm really loving this RWD! Hopefully get a chance to upload a few pics later.

I signed up here this morning. About a month ago I purchased an 2001, completely stock, in amazing condition from an old prof of mine, who had bought it new.
I've been browsing this forum for the past week, and am impressed by the level of technical expertise of many of the members in comparison to other Honda-related forums.

Hello, my name is Jacob and I am 18 years old. Im still young with minimal bills and no family, so I figure this is the only/perfect time for a s2000. Hopefully you all can point me in the right direction. I am a Honda guy! First car was a EBP EM1, second was a modified ASM FA5. The EM1 gave nothing but problems. the FA5 I'm making money on is why I'm selling it. Iv been researching the S2k community but still can not decide. Does anyone recommend the AP1 or AP2 for me? I do not plan to track this car or race it in the least. car will not be lowered, only mods performance will be an intake and maybe a mild exhaust. Nothing to Loud. I do not want my deciding factor be that the first gen revs to 9K. This will be my daily driver with some spirited driving.
