Default Honda Clearance l S2000 lease program

Does anybody have a print out or a link to the Honda Clearance program for the s2000?

My dealer is willing to match the price up to some point if I can bring the print out.

The program was for 36 months 12k miles a year for $299 with like 3000 down.

Let me know if anyone can help out.

ThanK you

You mean the lease special they had? If you're going through a Honda dealer, why do they need to see that to price match?

the honda lease program is the same throughout the country since it is by american honda finance corp.. what can vary is the price of the car or considered in a lease, adjusted cap cost reduction.. other than that, the money rate factor that you qualify for and residual is pretty much set in stone based on term and annual mileage allowance..

hope this helps make things for understandable...

You don't want them to MATCH the lease program price- you want them to BEAT it. The offer was $299/36mths/12K yr with ~$3700 total due at signing. I was able to get a deal that totaled about $1K LESS than the offer($363/mth + tax with only the first payment due at signing). Others got even better deals. If you are talking about an 06- I would want an even better deal now. The problem is that 06's have a lower residual than 07's and you would likely do better on an 07 model. I just waited until the lease offer surfaced on 06's(in May last year) then made my move. I would suspect it may start even earlier this year as sales are very slow.

You won't find that program right now, that's why your dealer wants you to bring a print out.

Last year's lease special was calculated on a money factor of 0.00057. Currently, the money factor is 0.00275. That's about 5 times higher. Residual is nearly the same (57% last May, 58% now).

Don't buy anything in the finance office. GAP is provided by Honda, and for a 3 year lease your car will be covered entirely under warranty (unless you go with 15k/year).

That was a great lease program last year. You can expect it back this year, but stay in contact with your dealer because there won't be much advertised. It is a great way to be able to drive an s2000 and afford it. I work at a dealership so If I hear of anything i'll post. The only downside to leasing is there are limited mods you can make.

Like others have said, don't have them match it, but beat it! Negotiate the price of the car first and try to get them down to invoice. There's definitely room for discount. Good luck.

Hey.

I worked for Honda until a few months ago, and it turns out that you can definitely beat that "special" price for the lease. Also, you can get 15k miles a year over 12k. It's just all a game of numbers. Good luck.
