Default Hey everyone! Picking up an s2k as a DD shortly :)

Hey everyone,

My names Lee, I have always been an s2k fan but never really looked seriously into buying one. Until now. I've been really really big into the subaru scene for a long time. This the 2nd of my 3 subies that I recently sold to start a new project.

I eventually got slightly bored with it and sold it to pick up this

Which I again got bored with and tore apart to do this (which i'm just buttoning up the few small things left to do now!

Meanwhile I found a great deal on a wrx with a bad motor. Bought it, rebuilt the motor, sold my previous DD integra only to have the wrx motor spin a bearing 1000 miles later

Basically, I want to get away from subarus and get into something more fun for a DD, ala s2k.

Eyeing a couple around my area and hopefully going to be in one within a couple days!

Look forward to getting to know everyone.
Lee

Oh nice im not a big fan of subies so hard to work on use to help a friend of mine on his sti. My evo was much more easy to work on. Hows the rx7 compared to the subie?? I want to get a project car so bad im thinking about a old mustang gt or a transam and supercharging them. I love to do highway pulls and drag so im thinking a V8 would be more fun for me and keep the s as a DD for now seeing i can't get the truck i want

I haven't drove the rx7 at anything above stock power level's so I can't really comment. But I think it's ging to be nasty, Once you learn a subaru inside an out they are actually extremely easy to work on, mainly because everything is right on top of the motor for you
