As for the S2000 what can I say I gave all that up for the convertible and rear wheel drive. As for the feel the S is definitely more responsive but I wouldn't say that much faster (please don't hurt me S2ki forum members).
hmm, maybe you are not driving the S2k right? I agree the K20a2 is a great engine and responds very well to NA mods. For perspective though I was making 201whp with bolt-ons and tuned K-pro on a mustang dyno, my buddys stock S2k made 210whp on the same dyno. My K20a2 was in a 2500lb EM2 civic, so yes the 300lb weight difference made the EM2 civic faster, but the type S is about the same weight as the S2k. So even with the mods I had on my K20a2/EM2 civic, the type S @ 300lbs heavier would be as fast, at best, likely a bit slower than a stock S2k. Now stock vs. stock, the mods that I had on my K20a2 netted me almost 30whp, a stock type S will be slower, as prove by the second difference in the 1/4 mile.

I guess I should have said feels that much faster but numbers don't lie and bgoetz is right you shave a second in the 60 second and quarter mile acceleration times. I'm just suggesting that don't let numbers be the main factor in picking your car. WESt ICE 013 you'll have a blast with either one.

Hopefully this weekend ill make my way to the dealership that has a pretty nice 2006 rsx-s. Only one owner too. I checked their inventory and they have an s2k there also. I hope they let me test drive it.

I think ill put my dream car aside for now, im still pretty young and ill get a brand new one later down the road...err or will the s3k be out by then? haha

Yeah, you just need to drive the S2k more to get use to it. The one thing I can say about the K20 vs the AP2 is that due to the clutch delay valve, the S2k does not feel nearly as strong on hard shifts.
