Help, what is the right price for a 2004 s2k...
I am negotiating for a 2004 silver/red 6,000 miles perfect condition garage kept in service date March 2005. What price is a very good deal. Thanks for helping a newbie.

pdf, I'm not really sure. If it's a 2004, what do you mean "in service date March 2005?" That seems unlikely.
In any case, a 2004 with 6K miles??? I'd guestimate around $25K. That's a totally wild guess though. Poke around ebaymotors (for example) to see what folks are charging.

I bought my 04 S2000 in March of 05 with 4000 miles for 23900. It was a very good deal at the time. One owner in like new condition. So I would expect that you could get this same deal now or better. Good luck but be patient, the car you want will eventually show up if you take your time and are willing to travel. I bought the car in Maryland and I live in Chicago. Made the deal over the phone, car was at a GM dealership. I said that if the car was not what they it was I would get back on the plane and eat my airfare. The carfax was good and the car was as described.
It helps if you have a credit rating over 800 because all I had to do was sign the loan papers and drive home. I also didn't put any money down because the bank would cover the whole amount.
