Just joined the site wanted to say hello. I am a in the US Navy currently. I get my first week off in aprox. 5 months. At this time I plan to buy an 08 StwoK. Is there anything about the 08s that stand out better or worse than the other years? Also what are you guys paying for insurance, I am 20 years old with 2 tickets and 1 accident on my record currently. : (

not considered the best--considered "the real S2000." the AP1 v. AP2 debate is age-old. do a search and you'll see the arguments it's started

Changes for MY08 are minor, do a search and you will find a couple threads that detail year-over-year changes. But, since MY04, most have been minor and cosmetic in nature. The one nice thing about MY08 is color choice, they were suppose to have brought back the famous GPW/all red, which only appeared in MY02 and is considered by some to be the best color combo.

I'd call around for insurance before you get too far down the road. With your age and driving record, you may not be pleased with what you hear. In general, insurance companies aren't kind to this car. Again, do a search and you will find several threads on this. Good luck.
