Greetings from a new AP1 owner in CO!
Hi everyone,
New member here on the forums. I am not used to most forums still having an active user base with all the social media groups out there, but since y'all exist and seem to be kickin', here I am!
I purchased a 2000 GPW AP1 w/ Red-Black interior and 65000 miles recently, nearly all OEM (couple of Honda Access upgrades like the shift knob came with it, and I bought the Access floor mats as well). I went just to look at it at the auto broker, and absolutely fell in love with the car - though being a BMW broker, they tried to sell me on the M roadster instead :P. An interesting fact about this particular S2K - it was featured in the following article in BimmerLife magazine, which was published shortly after I purchased the vehicle!

So, I cleared out my savings and made the plunge! I've always wanted one of these since I was in high school back in 2003-2007, and finally I'm in an adult enough place to get one .
Joined for a billman TCT, stay for the fun - isn't that how it goes?! Glad to be a part of the community, folks.

Welcome! The white on red is beautiful. The OEM black badges look great on white. You might try and find an OEM front lip to go with your rear spoiler and side strakes, it would really complete the look nicely.

Beautiful GPW. Congrats on your new acquisition. My second S was a 2000 Silverstone Silver with the Red interior like yours. I bought pair of Black S2000 seats on Craigslist to replace the Reds and stored them I put the red ones back in when I sold the S. I can't locate the interior photo with the black seats. You do need to locate a Front Lip Spoiler to complete the look. You can buy your color on Ebay for about $80

I'm not sure - the owner of the brokerage I bought the car from is a professional racer though, so I'm sure he had some fun with it... :P
