Got a 2007 Silverstone. :)
A friend (a fellow S2Ker) and I were talking about these cars and mentioned the oil filter and how an S2000's filter differs from any other Honda. He recommended that I join this forum, and for a car-dummy like me, it seems like a decent thing to do. I suppose this place is where I'll want to ask questions or like up whatever I'd need to know about these beastly cars.
A bit about myself:
I bought my first car in the summer of 2000, a 97 Honda Civic. On Christmas Eve, she finally said that she wanted to call it quits. I couldn't have asked for a better first car. I would have liked to have had it last until the summer (wouldn't it be cool to say that your first car lasted for ten years?!) but with my experience with my Honda, it's cemented my confidence and trust in the brand name. I'd recommend a Honda to everybody.
During an oil change, I saw the sexiest thing when I was roaming around a dealership lot: a 2003 red S2000. Ever since then it has been my dream car, though I never would have thought that I would be able to get one. Seven years later and through a series of good luck, I'm driving an S2000. A hell of a second car, I think.
I'm hoping to learn more about this car to help make it last as long as my Civic did (or maybe even longer!). I'll look around this site and see if there's anything I can use to help my new baby out. Cheers!
