Red flag all the way if girls just like you for your car. That means they only like Gucci, Prada ect and to drive with you to look good. Careless about you cause they can always get another sucka in the future!

I would say that a nice car should be appreciated by a woman that you're interested in. If she doesn't like it, and is too prissy to drive around with you with the top down, I say dump her.
Chaz. That's what's great about His and Hers s2ks

Here's my two cents.

When guys see me driving my S...they tend to stare but if my boyfriend is driving my car, they also tend to stare.

If the S2K isn't very popular in your area, then people will stare at you no matter what BUT if S2Ks are very popular they will just want to see who's driving it.

There are only a few other S's in my city and I'm always on the lookout to see if it's someone new or someone I've seen before.

I've noticed few girls staring at the car (maybe they don't stare once they realize it's not a guy ), but definitely more guys, which makes sense since more guys tend to be interested in cars.

My rule of thumb is that I never take the S on a first date. I think it either gives the impression that I'm trying hard to impress a girl, or it DOES impress a girl (the wrong kind of girl). I always take my Jeep Cherokee on the first date, and if it goes well, maybe by the second or third the S will come out.

I'm the same way. Prelude goes out for the first couple of dates, then MAYBE the S will go out for a date. A couple of the last girls I dated said the car was a waste of money, needless to say those relationships didn't last very long. My current girl couldn't care less what I'm driving.

As far as attention from guys, they either have respect for the car or they don't. I'm a car guy so I have respect for all nice cars, so I'll give them a thumbs up. Most of the time I'll get a weird look back, but a true enthusiasts will waive or give a thumbs up back.

I am looking for an s2000 right now and me and my friend have been talking about what gender will give it more attention. I say that the guys will be more into the car then the girls. or am I wrong?
I think it would be half an half. I've had guys in at the intersection pull up to me a compliment my car and ask me who makes it. And just a couple days ago I had an Acura TL full of smiling/giggling girls follow me in traffic .
