Former/Current 350Z owner to S2000
Hey everybody...just bought a 2005 sebring silver earlier today. This is my first S2000. For the past 4.5 years, I've owned a 2006 350Z...I'll be putting it up for sale later this week.
Not much else to say I guess. I've been admiring the cars for a long time; I always knew I would eventually own one. I guess I just wanted to wait until I wasn't as excited about my Z anymore. I still love the car, always will...but was ready for something new. I'm looking forward to what hopefully is a long and pleasant ownership of the S2000.
Quick question; Anybody know how much it costs to get another key made? Is the dealership pretty much my only option.
Thanks,
Chris

I just got home from work and got to spend some time playing with everything. Setting radio pre-sets, adjusting the mirrors...cleaning the wheels.
I'm actually even looking forward to running some stupid errands in it with my wife tonight.

Yeah...we just had a pretty good time going to target. Though I'll say, I've got to get used to driving it. I feel like I keep short shifting it while I'm driving casually.
In my Z it was usually pretty happy slightly under 2000 RPMs for city driving. Where do you typically keep it...maybe 3? I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Keys for this car are expensive, I have lost 2 sets and they are $600 each set. $300 for the S2000 key (or $80 for the Honda key) and then $80 to cut/progam it. The remote is $200, then add taxes to the total of both. Hopefully you dont have to go through the same problem as me . It could be much cheaper in the states, I can only hope for the best for you lol
Congrats on the switch! You wont regret it, every time you drive it.
