Finally got an S2000 - 11 years later
Hi all,
I was at the Honda dealer in 2005 about to pull the trigger on a brand new S2000 when I got the call from my wife. We needed a 3+ seat vehicle. I bought an Accord, which is a fantastic car, but it's not the S2000 I always wanted. I still have the Accord, but last week I finally got my own S2000, 11 years and 2 kids later.
I picked up a 2003 S2000 in Spa Yellow with less than 35k miles on it from a dealer in Oregon. I had it shipped down to San Jose, CA. and have driven it back and forth to work in Fremont a few times.
I am over the moon with this car. It's everything that I've always thought it would be. On the way home last night I got my first wave from another S2K driver in Milpitas (Laguna Blue Pearl). I love that there is a community. Not only does the car feel like a sportbike on 4 wheels, but the community feels much the same.
Thanks for always posting great info on S2KI, I've been reading it for years and finally joined a few months ago. I look forward to contributing what I can to the group.
