Finally decided to come in.
I actually picked up my '02 SS AP1 last month, just had the chance to first drive it last week seeing as that I'm back on R&R from Afghanistan. Unfortunately I go back next Friday...
I bought the car from a guy on the forum(not gonna mention names) and when I got it, I could tell he wasn't an enthusiast at all. My dad drove it down from KY, had multiple problems with it not wanting to shift at all...found out when I got back, the clutch fluid reservoir was totally dry. Along with numerous scratches from when he put the HT on and shaved the side emblems.
I ran into a little problem of my own on the drive home on Monday. I had no idea there was a tornado warning in effect, as soon as I got on the highway, I heard something that sounded like I ran over a semi tire. Then I noticed my rear window was oddly large...that's when I looked back and saw the 2nd section of my Spoon HT flying around on the side of the road. So it spent the last two days sitting with a motorcycle cover over it because the guy I bought it from cut out the factory top when he installed the Spoon. Luckily I found a guy in FL that has an '06 softie that should be hare on monday.
But i'm not here to complain.
All it has right now is the Spec Stage 1, Fidanza lightweight, Invidia Dual w/test pipe(ridiculously loud but also tolerable) and a limited edition 7 piece Spoon HT.
Sitting for two days after the accident.
And here's the damage
After I get back from the suck in Feb, it's gonna be getting force-fed, AP2 front bumper/lip, probably a 1 piece hardtop unless I can find a way to get another 2nd section and a few more goodies that I still haven't decided on yet.
When I get back for good, I'll be located in Clarksville, TN but also spend quite a bit of time in Huntsville, AL.

I am thinking on lowering it a little more, but I really like how I can clear speed bumps with this car. haha
We'll see how the coilovers cope in the spring!

i think I have seen this car before on the forums.
good luck with it. Definitely some darker rims will really overhaul the looks of that car!

I do have some bronze 5-spokes that I wanna put on it till the spring when i'll probably go with some RPF1s. Those'll most likely be gunmetal-ish, or something close to that.
