Default evo to s2k

Hey everyone

Just picked up an 01 berlina s2k last weekend and love it. The handling is spot on, most raw and fun car i have ever had. cruising with the top down can not be beaten. Just recently sold my 06 evo 9 to get some cash in my pocket and i haven't missed it yet. I am also new to the sd area, so would love to get to some local meets.

Welcome.

I was looking at evos for when I have kids and need a 4dr.

Howd you like the evo?
I know they're pretty fast but are they reliable?
Expensive to upkeep?

Turbos can be such a pain in the ass. Lol

DON'T U EVAR TALK BOUT TRUBOS DAT WAY!!11

I'm kind of curious though, why from an Evo to an S2K? Evos seem like a technological marvel IMO, although I obviously prefer the S2K. Always said, if I ever needed a family sedan, it'd be an Evo.

I loved my evo, it was a blast to drive and had plenty of power. I also had an 07 sti but the evo was in my opinion a better car. Reliabilty was good, but being a turbo car boosting 23+ lbs there were things to fix and problems arose. And dd was a bit tough. I sold the car cause im trying to propose to my gf and needed extra cash.
