This is the craziest thing I've ever done...

Sorry I haven't answered the followup questions for awhile... the remodel has kept me pretty busy. So far I've torn out some of the old cabinets, moved a wall, did some drywall work, and replumbed for a relocated sink.
BTW, I think that was a compliment from Mr. Ian300D. I'm a salesman so I have to be quick on my feet. In case you're wondering how I know how to do the handyman stuff it's because my Dad rarely let me play with my buddies on Saturday... he insisted I help him with the projects around the house.
Anyway, back on MLK day when I drove that 06 S2000, with 13K miles, they were asking $23,888. That's when I started looking around and found this 05 with 13K miles for $16,888 in Salt Lake City. I don't know if I got a very good deal but I just wasn't able to find anything else around here for that price unless it had around 70K miles. There aren't very many curves between SLC and Seattle so it was a long boring drive.
If you're wondering if I think the drive back from SLC and the remodel negotiation was worth it, go over to the Street Encounters section and look for the title, "It's a miracle". BTW, the moderator shut it down - I didn't know that I was breaking any forum rules, and I really do feel foolish about what I did. I really am using better judgement now but this car makes me do some crazy things. My wife doesn't know about the "miracle" so I have no intention of telling her about this forum.
