buying questions
hey, my name is Teddy i live in NY. ok so i have been saving for 3 years to buy an s2000. finally its time i have been researching as much as i can i have 3 friends that i drive with one of whom has a twin turbo 350z, the other an rx-7 and the other with a single turbo supra. it seems that they have a wealth of knowledge about their cars but i cant seem to get enough input on s2k's so im seriously ready to buy one. it will only be used during summer and not in the rain. i found on the fs forums and need to be sure im not rushing into a mess lol the one im looking at is a red 2000, inline pro turbo kit with the 3mm head gasket the mileage is around 96K but was rebuilt 3000 miles ago all professionally done stage 2 clutch in a rebuilt tranny. everything has been updated i have been talking to the owner for a couple of weeks and is assuring me everything is ok but as other seasoned s2000 owners i need some feedback please if everyone agrees i will be purchasing it asap

1) Research all posts by the member.
2) Do you have to go turbo?
3) I personally would find a used AP2 S2K with less than 30K miles or a search for a barely used CR.
The decision is ultimately yours.

Whenever I look for a car, my preference is for it to be as stock as possible so that I can make it/mod it in my own way.
It really gets me to feel even more connected with my car than if someone had already de-virginized her.... I mean my car

I saw that one in the for sale section. Looks pretty good, definitely a lot of money under the hood. Get it and race your friend with the TT 350, but be sure to post the vid.
