Why was this moved to the introduction forum?

I was looking for insight from experienced members.

no offense, but $23k for a AP1 doesn't sound like that good of deal to me. there are LOTS of S2000s on the market right now. 02-03's w/decent mileage (30-60k) can be had for $16-18k pretty easily. Granted, the majority of cars are listed in the $19-22k territory, but, frankly, those asking prices are highly......err, "optimistic", esp the ones in the FS section on here.

a pristine 03 w/just shy of 11k miles sold in my area from a private party seller for about $18.5k w/in the last couple weeks. now that was a steal!

anyways, just be patient. there are more and more going up for sale each day, and it'll be like that for the next several months as people try to brace for their holiday $pending, winter, and housing purchases.

good luck & hope you land a S at a nice price soon. you'll love the car.

What's'a matta', don't'cha like us?

Seriously, your post seemed to belong here. If you want, I can move it back to S2000 Talk, but this is the forum for folks looking and recent buyers...
