any known problems with the 06 s2k?
I heard one question that might be attributed to driver error, but is still yet undiagnosed. One possibility mentioned was the drive by wire system creating the bucking at 2k rpm... Any issues to look out for that someone has run across?

No issues at all on my '06. I think the poster in the other thread with problems just isn't used to the engine charactistics of the S2000. Maybe he's used to driving big block engines which he can expect immediate torque at low RPMs.
I think by now there are quite a few '06 owners on this forum. The fact that only one person is complaining about low RPM bucking should not cause an alarm. The '06 S2000 driven properly is definitely smoother than the previous years, I know this since I owned an '02 prior to my '06.

Mike thats the thread that made me ask.. As I mentioned it is as of yet undiagnosed and could be driver error. Thanks to anyone responding.
nimbus can you compare the two cars..any differences in feel etc. in the 02 -06?
