my new 06 was $29,474.00. why not pay a little more and get a new one with 0 miles and a factory warranty. and if you are financing you will also get a lower interest rate too, so at the end you'll pay the same price for a new one that you would've paid for a used.

Many, like myself, have them as secondary (or even tertiary) cars. Normal to find low mileage sports cars.

Pros2000:
That is a pretty great price for an 06'. Where did you get it from?

Anyway, $25,000 = TT&L = and associated fees will get my total cost to $26,500. Even if I get an 06' for your price I would end up paying about $31,100 or so. (Figuring tt&l for Wisconsin at 5.5%. There is still at minimum a $4600 difference. I currently have $28,000 in cash.

Thanks, Brian

To moderators:

Why has this been moved to "introductions". Shouldn't this be in "S2000 talk"? Am I missing something?

Thanks, Brian

It's in the right place now.

25k doesn't sound bad, I paid 23,900 for my 04 with 26k miles, lip, spoiler, headrest speakers and XM all included.

I am in Nor Cal. I got mine at Honda of Serramonte, they currently have a red one on display. I am sure my friend who works there can get you the same or very close to it deal.

Well, I didn't buy it. I wasn't as clean as they "said" that it was. 8 hrs of driving wasted.

Oh well...I'll keep looking.

Thanks, Brian

I guess some people really don't drive these things! On a side note, I've seen a 1993 Carrera with only 6,000km (~3700miles) on the odometer 2 years ago

Anyway, try for a lower price. But then, if color and condition look right to you? Then sometimes it's worth paying a little more for it if you could afford it. There will always be a person who finds a better deal than you do ...
