05 silverstone and 06 red?
I've searchin s2000 and I found a two s2000 but any opinion/advice?
1. Red 06/51k milies = 16500
Pros: local honda dealer and sales guy is s2ki member. Beautiful color.
Warranty. Exterior looks pretty perfect.
Cons: missing shift knob and missing one piece plastic (member told me he will replace it if I buy it). High milies than what I was lookin for. CR Wing?(not big fan...)
* I forgot to look at tires/car fax yet.
2. Silverstone 05/around 20k milies. = 17000
Pros: very low milies. Clean car fax. I think I can drop more, since dealer wants to get rid of it(ford dealer). Just looking thru pictures it looks pretty clean.
Cons: it says 1 month warranty. 5 hours away. Not big fan of silverstone. Little bit more interest rate than 06 year (what my bank told me)
Idk...what you guys think?

Before tax and fee.
If the '06 is higher mileage than you want (plus you don't like the CR wing), I'd probably pass on it. Mileage is one of those things you can't replace. I will say though that I got mine with 49k miles on it and it's great. I wanted something lower mileage but couldn't find anything in my price range so I went with the best of my options (which was like 200 miles away).
I'd see how much you could get the dealer talked down to see if it's worth considering that 2005. At that price, it'd be $2000+ more than the 2006 with taxes and fees. If that's your price range, you should be looking at lower mileage 2006 models from private sellers.

^thanks for advice charlie. Yeah, milies/wing is kinda holding me. I'm planing to check the red one again and see more carefully. I also looked thru private but good deal always gone before I catch it. Lol have you had any problems when you got yours?

I had to drive about 200 miles to test drive the car and didn't have much time to decide (because someone was offering to fly in from New Jersey and drive it home), so I went ahead and got it. It was the best combination of price, mileage, model year, color, and condition that I found.
FYI - I was checking Autotrader several times a day within a 200 mile radius and was the first person to contact the seller (which was within a few hours of them putting the car up). Between me making first contact and actually agreeing to buy a few days later, the had received dozens of e-mails and phone calls. You've got to be first in line to get a good deal!
Since then, the only problem I've had is it keeps snowing here
