05 Rio S2K or a 06 model?
I am on the fence...I can get a Rio 05' model for around $28k or a 06' model for around $31k...which one should I get ??? Keep in mind that trade-in on a 05 is around $25k and there is no info yet on the 06', but I imagine that it would be around $28k !!!

It's kind of up to you, obviously. How important is $3000 to you? How much do you care about the changes made to the MY06 model from the previous one? How long are you going to keep the car? How much are you going to drive it? Are you going to track it? Are the bragging rights of having an '06 vs. an '05 important to you?
We can't answer any of these questions for you. So we can't answer your question.

I am just tossed as to some of the features on the 05 vs the 06...the rims on the 05 model I like better, but on the 06 they give you the better sound system (rear headrest speakers), more hp on the 05, etc....

You could put a smokin' sound system in the '05 for three grand! SPod speakers (aftermarket headrest ones) are inexpensive, throw in some door speakers and an amp, a new headunit with the DCI and you're set.
