Default Remodelling is Getting OLD

I've already tiled the hall and entryway of the house...last weekend we tore out all of the old carpeting and painted the spare bedroom...This weekend we're putting hardwood flooring in it. My kitchen and dining room had a marble floor and I have that half ripped up, getting ready to replace it with tile...What started off as a few weekend projects has turned into a major redo. I should have hired someone to do this...

Yea...
we've lived in our N. Hollywood house for 20 years now. honestly was a sh!thole when we moved in, but my dad and i started to do some work about 6-7 years back... started to think it was too much for us, so we just started hiring people to do the job.

best of luck with your work Bob.

property price is $$$$. we bought the house for 225K, now it's selling for close to 1 Mil. 970K or something.. our house DEFINITELY ain't no million dollar house!

i know my parents saved a lot of money but doing our kitchen themselves so if your willing to spend lots of money to pay people to do it then go for it but doing it yourself saves lots and lots of money
