Default Porter Cable

Anyone here have a Porter Cable that they would like to demonstrate?

My schedule is pretty tight but evenings and Sundays are no problem.

I am looking at buying one but my detailing experience is pretty much wash and wax.

Thanks in advance.

Do yourself a favor and go to your local "Detail Supply" store and buy a gallon of "Smart Inspection", some micro fiber rags and a spray bottle. Mix yourself a spray bottle of 50% Smart Inspection and 50% water...Spray your car every other day with this stuff and hand buff it with the micro fiber rags (it takes all of 10 minutes) and your car will look like it was just detailed. This stuff is also super for glass etc. Ask anyone that's seen my last two S2000's and they'll vouch for the job this stuff does. I never wash or wax a car (to much work and it's a waste of time). My 05 has never been washed and looks better than new...

^^ I really do need to go pick some of that stuff up. It just seems to get harder and harder to keep my car clean.

You've got no excuse...the place is darn near in your backyard Seriously though, let me know when you're going and I'll meet you there. I need more too.

Depends on who's working...I've been charged anywhere from $17 to $22. I think the real price is $17

Did I mention that my car gets 3500 miles a month? I got it the day of the Rose Bowl...60,080 miles. Today, 63,360 miles. It gets pretty dirty (rain, crap from the roads, etc.) The previous owner did not take very good care of the paint and it needs to be brought back to the point where a quick detailer can maintain it.

Bob,

Where do you get your detail supplies? Know of anywhere close to Norco? I am new enough that I need some expert advice before I just run out and start buying things.

I buy mine in Colton...It's the only Detail Supply store I know of.

I tried organizing a detail meet one time and even told everyone to bring their own spray bottle and I'd fill them...That wasn't even motivation enough.
