Took a drive to Malibu on Sunday. Drove through snow and rain to get there but it was well worth the effort.

S2K and Prowler on PCH

Why is it that 90% of the Prowlers I see have their roof up??? It's not like they're stuck in traffic on the 405 or dropping the kids off at soccer practice either...

 

Nice pictures! I've made that run before ... If I recall, we had 30-40 cars from all over Socal...Believe it or not, I was the only participant from the IE

 

Prowlers have the top up because the people that own them are normally older people that want a hot rod but are unwilling to make the commitment that a "real" hot rod takes. The top on that car is a PITA to put up and down, so most don't make the effort. My friends that borrowed the car from a friend of theirs wished they had an S2000 to drive instead. Just being able to move the top at a stop light sold them...having functioning kidneys at the end of the day was icing on the cake.
