i have the same ht wiht a custom rear window that i made from home depot only cause 30 bucks n just use screws

 

on a side note: not all plex and lexan is the same. Some have a UV coat on one side, keeps it from turning yellow.

 

Lost the seal(stripping) with the window. I'm gonna try to get one from seibon

 

while you're at it price the window also.

 

How fast were you going in order for the rear window to come flying off? Has is been rattling before and you just reglected it?

 

Maybe about 60mph. I just bought it from "lil ant" he never had a prob with it and it wasn't rattling or coming off as far as I could tell. It was nice and quiet inside until whoosh no more window.

That would've been weird if this guy sold it to you after getting the window for his HT and have it fly off. Haha. So did you get any quotes on how much the cost is going to be for a replacement? I hope it isn't too expensive.

 

Well I just fond out that seibon doesn't sell the window or seal seprate.

I did PM lilant he said it was $200 for the window and to go to seibon for the seal(but they don't sell it seperate) I'm gonna PM him again about the seal.

 

Man just use com J.B. Weld, that will hold anything. haha j/k good luck finding the seal and let us know where we can get it just in case someone else has this problem.
