Trying to find a beach that allowes BBQ'ing.
So far I'm thinking Corona Del Mar or Docheny State Park by Dana Point

well then.... can you check the two out find out which would be better for a 10-20 ppl BBQ thats nice and close to the water as we can get

I think I've been to Doheny but never checked out Corona Del Mar

what about Balboa? it is a nice place and they let you BBQ plus they have a big area where lots of people can fit

Never heard of salt creek.
Balboa might be a wee bit crowded to go swimming too afterwards.
It is gonna be on a Sunday after all.

Salt is pretty cool..they have BBQ and tables set up and a basketball court...
