well i diddnt buy the car becasue it was a convertible but after i bought it i liked the fact that it was but now its rainy season so i wouldnt mind having a hardtop.

eh? having leaks? Actually, after thinking about it, it is useful, esp. if your car is outside a lot. My ex-gf didn't close my window all the way up once, and there was a puddle on my passenger side floor the next morning. doh.

Another positive is it prevents bastards from cutting the softtop to steal your seats! (happened to me also) double doh.

The convertible part is my least favorite part of the car. I feel a little unsafe also. Plus I think the hardtop looks a lot better. And I never put my top down anyways, unless it's at night. And even then I'd rather have the top up. Daytime is just too hot for me to have the top down.
